DayCare at Covepets

Huntsville’s premier DayCare, where your pet can live it’s best life

Our DayCare at Covepets is a place where your dog can be a dog in a managed environment. We have three play groups playing on our yards from 7:00am to 5:30pm Monday through Friday. The groups are supervised at all times by our trained and caring staff. We photograph the pets playing throughout the morning and post photos to our Facebook page around noon each day. Covepets is committed to providing a DayCare that allows the pets to actually be kennel free for their day with us. We have three large indoor/outdoor play yards with area heaters for cold days and fans and pools for those hot summer days. There are no forced lunch or nap times at our facility (*unless specifically asked for by you), if there is any reason your pet would need to be kenneled (behavior issue, injury, etc.) you will be contacted immediately.  Keep scrolling for more benefits of DayCare and our rates and requirements.

Socialization
Socialization

Good social skills with people and other dogs is a key factor for a well behaved pet. At DayCare your pet will learn trust through positive experiences with our caring team. During interactive play groups your pet will learn appropriate ways to greet and interact with other dogs. Even a few days a week at Day Care can dramatically improve social skills. We've found that this translates to dogs who love coming into our office and are not as anxious when they have to be away from their pet parents.

Security

Our Play-yards are all X-grass, an artificial turf made specifically for dogs. All perimeter fencing is at least 6 feet tall and has an angled topper applied to ensure no pets can climb out. Our playgroups are monitored by our team members anytime we have pets on the yard.

Daycare requirements

In order to participate in Doggie DayCare, all dogs must meet the following requirements:
Vaccinations/ Testing
Rabies
DA2PP
6 month Bordetella
Canine Influenza (H3N2)
Heartworm Test and Intestinal Parasite Screen at least once a year

Spayed/Neutered
All dogs older that 6 months of age must be spayed or neutered

Flea/Tick Prevention
All participants must be on a veterinarian-approved monthly flea and tick preventative all year round. Please provide proof of purchase from your veterinarian.
